Collage in a different form

Collage in a different form

I have tried to create story of a rabbit and a tortoise by cutting shapes from colored glossy paper magazines and pasting them to form shapes. The shapes of clouds, trees its branches, stones, grass etc. I enjoyed it. Choose the appropriate colored patches from pictures in the magazine.  Draw shapes on the reverse and cut accordingly. Paste pieces on a plain paper and thus you create to form a story or a picture etc. this craft idea is worth trying isn’t it?

The story of a rabbit and a tortoise

There lived two friends a Rabbit and a tortoise.  They got along well with each other and were good friends.

One day rabbit felt they should run a race to decide who is best of them. To this the tortoise agreed. So they agreed to run from the starting point to the mountain top flag pole.
On their decided day the both arrived at the starting point. Then at the count of three they both started from the same point. The rabbit was fast and sprinted away. The tortoise being slow toiled his way slowly.

The tortoise continued on his way.

At a point the rabbit realized that the tortoise was left far behind. Now I can rest awhile and take a power nap. The rabbit was fast asleep.

By that time the slow tortoise reached him and walked past him.

He never once stopped to rest. He had decided I will reach the top and then stop.

The tortoise thus marched towards his goal.

He reached the mountain top and reached the flag post before the rabbit. He won the race.
