Water Lily : made from white duplex crepe paper. Cut out petals and glue them on a round card paper base approx. 3 inches diameter Work the outer most layer first then the inner circles one by one Lastly the orange yellow center
These beaded flowers are easy to prepare and can be joined together to form coasters, mats, table covers, mini purse, tote bag etc. I have used 8mm beads in two colours. One can try in various colour combinations and join them to form various shapes also.
Step 1
Take 6 beads in a row and
go through the first one to
form a circle
Step 2
Take 5 beads of different colour for the petal and pass through the bead in the red central one and come out in the first bead of the petal
Step 3
For the next petal take 4 beads and repeat cross through red bead in central circle and come out in first bead of petal
Step 4
repeat process for petal nos 3, 4 and 5 similarly with 4 beads
Step 5
For the fifth petal take only 3 beads an pass through first bead of petal one. tighten the strands and put a knot to finsh. Cut of the strands and

Origami the art of paper folding is a very ancient art. It also helps to keep stress away. To create flowers with origami and arranging them is fun and recreation as well. My first project was origami Swan and today I am showing in this video four petalled flowers. They are simple to make and hope this video tutorial is easy to follow.
